Location: Renmark St John Hall, 18th street, Renmark.
Date: Sat 6th of May, 2006
Time: Midday till Midnight (Or thereabouts ;) )
Cost: $15 per system
Games Played: Lots! It depends on the mood of the day, and what's new. Battlefield 2, Counter Strike Source, Trackmania Nations, etc. Check the forums and see what other people are playing.
Maximum number of systems: 20 (Not including Admin / servers)

We book the number of trestles based on how many registrations there are, so if you show up without registering, you may find yourself on the floor!
Fill in the form Here to register. If you're under 15, watch the forums or the main page for the appearance of a permission form that I'll need your parents to sign. If you can't make it to the LAN for any reason, but are interested in attending future LANs, drop us an email anyway, so that we know how many interested people there are out there.

A Note on security:
It's a good idea to mark ALL your gear - including Power board, power cables, and your network cable. Also, as you put stuff in your car at home, make a list of what's going in. Double check it as you take it out at the hall, then you can check off and make sure you take everything home. It wont take long, and will save headaches trying to remember what belongs to whom at the end of the night.

What to Bring:

We will provide the following:

  • ONE power point
  • Table space for one PC
  • ONE chair (Uncomfortable plastic)
  • Switch, Hubs, Game / FTP Servers
  • DHCP (or peg) server (or clothes line).

YOU need to bring:

  • Your Computer (Duh!) WITH a Network card containing a 10baseT or 100baseT plug.
  • Power Board (if you need more than one power point)
  • 'CAT 5' Network Cable - NOT a crossover cable, NOT a Coax. At least 5m long.
  • ALL Windows disks and driver disks, including your network card drivers. (You never know when you're gonna need them!)
  • Your game CD's, and any patches that you may need.
  • Comfy chair / cushion (Unless you like hard plastic chairs)
  • Food & Drink!
  • Headphones. 20 sets of speakers is going to get (a) loud, and (b) confusing. A Cheap set of headphones is as little as 10 - 15 bucks.

Please DO NOT bring any of the following:

  • Alcohol. The venue is not licensed, and this is a gaming session, not a drinking session.
  • Any other electrical devices. We are going to be using a fair chunk of power - we don't want to try and run stereos, TV's, Heaters, Toasters etc off the same power circuits, or we will be tripping breakers.
  • Anything illegal. Includes, but not limited to Drugs, Weapons, Porn, etc.
